It's been a drab winter so now is a good time to get out and about. Our 2nd annual Sweetheart Chocolate Walk on Saturday, February 15 is one way to meet people, get a chocolate treat, and support the educational programs offered at the Fort. Stop by or call to get a ticket for $20 which gives the holder access to 12 special businesses that will offer goodies from hot chocolate to homemade cookies. Include lunch at one of the participating restaurants like Froehlich's Classic Corner where you can get a Chocolate Buckeye, a food purchase coupon and indulge in a Chocolate Martini ($5 for those 21 and older). After walking or driving around town, return to the Visitor Center and drop off your punched ticket to be included in a drawing for "Dinner for Two" at Scaffidi's Restaurant and Tavern. And watch for news on our March Shamrock Walk!
